Life Groups are small groups consisting of people with common life interests.  These groups are designed to help people connect with other Christians as they focus on a shared life interest or a common need.  These groups provide a place to find encouragement, friendship and strength.  Look over the list below of the current life groups and see if there is one that interests you.

Red Hat Society: If you are over 50 (Red hatter) or under 50 (Pink hatter) we would love to have you join our group. Email susan_noe@yahoo.com. We try to meet monthly for some fun activity. Membership is yearly and cheap. Our motto -  Our price is above rubies...our wisdom is earned...our aim is fun. Homeschool Life Group: The purpose of  the Homeschool Life Group is for those who are interested in the ministry of homeschooling to discuss their successes and trials of homeschooling with others, thereby encouraging one another. The group meeting is for those who are currently homeschooling their children or grandchildren, have homeschooled and have wisdom to impart to others, or those who are interested in homeschooling their children or grandchildren.  The group meets at 7:00 pm on the fourth Thursday of every month at a different local restaurant. There are no meetings in November or December.

Needle and Thread Group: This group meets one Saturday a month to share skills dealing with textiles such as sewing, needlework, embroidery, knitting, crochet and quilting. If you'd like to be a part of this group contact Melanie Polutta . This group meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Melanie's. She holds open house anytime between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, come and join her for as short or as long a time as you can to work on your WIP. (Information on charity work will be made available for those who are interested in using their skills for others.)

The Christian Writers Group: This group meets the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 am.  The purpose of this Life Group is for its members to encourage one another to glorify God through their talent for writing by:

• setting and sharing writing goals,
• encouraging one another to write on a regular basis by sharing our work with one another,
• praying together for direction from God about how to use the talents He has given us and using our collective abilities to serve the church and reach out to non believers.

We are open to anyone who believes he or she has a talent for writing, and I would like to encourage people to bring in any good writing books or publications that they may have. Contact Jerri Harrington or Kathy Shunk .

S.A.L.T. (Single Adult Life Talk):   Bible study groups for 30+ singles.  Tuesday night at Dave & Dan Cain's house, Thursday night at Elaine Reeder's house.
