The speaker at the 2007 PowerHouse: Jackie Qualls!

Jackie Qualls is the Youth Minister at the Southside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells, TX. He and his wife Joellen have been married for 12 years and they are the proud parents of Sydney Grace who they adopted earlier this year. After graduating from ACU with a degree in Biblical Studies, Jackie went into youth ministry and has been working with teens and families since 1997. He has also been a teacher and speaker at Summer Youth Series events, director of Opportunity Camp, director of the Ropes at Meditation Park (a ropes course ministry), and the President of the Sons of Thunder motorcycle ministry for the Southside Church.

Jackie is a passionate follower of Christ and he brings that passion to his work with teens and families. His straightforward style of communication is powerful and effect. Jackie brings biblical knowledge and relevant messages together to challenge and nurture spiritual growth. Here is what he believes (from his own words), “I have been adopted by God and restored by the death and resurrection of His son Jesus. I am richly blessed and want to bring glory to Him by my life.”
