Seeking opportunities to serve! If you know of someone who needs assistance, please inform Cindi Cesone or Dennis Cesone.
Sean Blake of Rockville, MD
In response to a desperate call for help, Mark
Lowenstein and Dennis Cesone visited a family in Rockville,
MD on Saturday, October 20. A few months ago, Mr. Sean Blake
ruptured his esophagus - a life-threatening situation. He has
been on extended bed rest and is completely dependent
on liquid medicine for nourishment since August, 2007. He will
remain on this liquid diet at least until mid-December when
he will be examined again to ensure complete recovery.
Each bottle of liquid diet lasts about 1-1/2 days and
costs $250.00. Unfortunately, it is not covered
by their health insurance. Sean's wife, Mrs. Larisa Arabayeva,
quit her job to remain home and care for Sean and one of their
two young children, Daniella.
The high medical bills has made it difficult for them to put
food on the table. In order to ensure that her child could
eat, Larisa has been sacrificing her own meals.
Larisa contacted
as many churches as she could in
search for assistance. So far, only two have responded. FXCC
purchased two bottles of medicine for Sean which will
last for the remainder of October.
Please prayerfully consider how you may assist
them. This is a wonderful way to offer love, charity, and support
on behalf of Christ Jesus. They appreciate all the encouragement
and support we can give to them.
"Each of you should
look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests
of others."
