The Bible is like a map leading us to heaven. Do you know where you are going when your life on earth has ended? Are you doing the Lord's will or living apart from it? Flash video
John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 1:14: "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father full of grace and truth."
John 20:29: "Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Romans 10:10: "For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
John 20:30: "Jesus did many miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book."
ONE - REPENT of his/her sins
2 Corinthians 7:10: "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death."
Acts 3:19: "Repent, then, turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."
Acts 2:37: "When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"
ONE - CONFESS Jesus as Lord
Romans 10:9-10: "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
Hebrews 13:15: "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise -- the fruit of lips that confess his name."
ONE - BE BAPTIZED for forgiveness of sins
Mark 16:16: "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."
Acts 8:12: "But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw."
Acts 2:38: "Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.""
Colossians 2:11-12: "In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead."
Acts 22:16: "And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name."
John 14:15: "If you love me, you will obey what I command."
John 15:9: "As the Father loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command."
John 14:23: "Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.""
1 John 1:5: "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."
