| COMMUNICATIONS: Email continues to be the best means for much of the communications between the Endorser and chaplains. For almost 2 weeks in August my DSL line was down due to a lightning strike. If you emailed during that time and did not receive a response, my system was down. I make it a practice to return emails within 24 hours, if possible. You should be receiving, as a minimum, the monthly Mobilization and Deployment Report.
|
| MINISTRY REPORT: I will email each active and retired chaplain a copy of the Annual Ministry Report for 2007 in February 2008. This report is prepared for the Fairfax elders, but since it gives a thorough overview of operations for the proceeding year and the current state of the Ministry. Jim began the practice of ensuring that all chaplains are added to the distribution so that everyone is informed regarding a Ministry in which we all have a stake. I will also include the Federal Roster of Chaplains with name, general location and email address.
