For those that don’t know, a "blog" (short for "web log") is essentially a journal comprised of a mixture of someone’s thoughts, experiences, and ideas from people. Above are links to blogs of some of the the Fairfax Church of Christ ministers.

These blogs are not devotionals, or Bible lessons and are not intended to be. These blogs contain stream-of-conciousness thoughts, experiences and insight to observations of life that the ministers have. They are just quick journalling about what the ministers are reading, experiencing or pondering. Blog entries may or may not have references to Scripture, or mention God or spiritual matters as they might address an observation of day-to-day life or express the emotions of how the author is feeling on a particular day.

Some of you might be disappointed in not seeing more "spiritual" things on these blogs, but that isn’t their purpose. But you might see some sides of the staff who blog that you may not know otherwise, and discover a personal connection you were unaware of. We are hoping this will further the breaking down of barriers and a way for you to get to know them more.

The ministers are taking a risk by exposing their opinions or expressing their tastes because some may post comments of disagreement in response. But they encourage you to post responses whenever you feel the urge ... and non-anonymous responses are appreciated far more than anonymous ones.
